CHATTOGRAM
Strauss is committed sustainably.
Strauss believes in Bangladesh and its people, and have had strong links here for a decade and a half. Work began in 2006, initially with shirts. Today, Bangladeshi partners create products using leading-edge textiles.
In tandem with our CI Factory in Germany we are developing the workwear of the future.
„Together with our long-standing partners, we’ve created the right conditions for making sophisticated products. And that brings value back to Bangladesh.”
– Henning Strauss, CEO
FROM 4 TO 499 PIECES
Thanks to small series production, bespoke unit runs will soon be possible, from 4 to 499 pieces. It won’t be long before companies will be able to have all their CI workwear tailor-made. Large-scale production’s next door, for unit runs of 500-plus. Even fabrics and components are made here. At Chattogram, they complete the full process, from spinning the cotton to completing the trousers.
HIGHLY TECHNOLOGICAL
As far as development’s concerned, in Chattogram we’re working on next-level workwear. Welding fabrics with ultrasound. Automating pattern creation. And prototyping new techniques of pocket constructions.
„Education is the most permanent form of social and environmental commitment. It shapes our mindset. Bangladesh and its people will benefit for generations to come!“
– Steffen Strauss, CEO
