PRODUCT INFORMATION
These shoes are certified according to EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S, although their properties are similar to those of S3 safety shoes with a weatherproof membrane (e.g. dryplexx®). Due to the adaptation of the EN ISO 20345:2022, new protection classes are created to further subdivide the characteristics of safety shoes in the future. Muddy, slippery, wet: These are just the right conditions for the S7 safety shoe e.s. Passau mid. The robust leather combo goes confidently through any job, in any weather, and impresses at the end of the day with practical ease of care. Dry feet, from the inside and out, are ensured by the high-quality dryplexx® membrane. The slip-resistant PUR sole according to SR provides excellent slip safety and stable footing in the field. To avoid pressure points and optimally support the feet even on long working days, the shaft end and tongue are made of flexible, breathable mesh, and the interior features pleasantly soft textile material. A steel-hard safety shoe with a strong outdoor protection package and soft comfort features.

Breathable shoes only work with functional socks. Cotton socks store moisture. In contrast, functional socks remove the moisture from the feet to the outside. Then the breathable shoe membrane comes into play and transports the moisture to the outside of the shoe. Therefore the principle behind breathable shoes only works if breathable socks are worn. Only a combination of functional socks and breathable shoes effectively removes sweat sending it to the outside of the shoe. This is the principle of breathability.
