S7: S7S Safety boots e.s. Bozen mid + black
These shoes are certified according to EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S, although their properties are similar to those of S3 safety shoes with a weatherproof membrane (e.g. dryplexx®). Due to the adaptation of the EN ISO 20345:2022, new protection classes are created to further subdivide the characteristics of safety shoes in the future. PLAYING IT SAFE
Some shoes simply protect the foot from hazards. And then there's the e.s. Bozen mid - work shoes that unleash true safety powers. The sporty S7S safety shoes have plenty of those: The innovative composite toe cap and puncture-resistant textile sole protect from above and below against impacts and sharp objects. The dryplexx® membrane also provides weather protection, and the slip-resistant rubber/EVA outsole ensures secure footing on any terrain. And because stability is an important safety aspect when working on uneven surfaces, the S7S safety shoes e.s. Bozen mid have a high shaft and extra TPU joint reinforcement - special protection for the heavily loaded ankle. They are great for work!

Breathable shoes only work with functional socks. Cotton socks store moisture. In contrast, functional socks remove the moisture from the feet to the outside. Then the breathable shoe membrane comes into play and transports the moisture to the outside of the shoe. Therefore the principle behind breathable shoes only works if breathable socks are worn. Only a combination of functional socks and breathable shoes effectively removes sweat sending it to the outside of the shoe. This is the principle of breathability.

Workplaces that need to be protected from electrostatic discharges are called Electrostatic Protected Area or ESD workplaces. Thanks to anti-static equipment, e.g. anti-static work clothing and ESD safety shoes, electrostatic charging usually caused by friction is prevented in these areas. In line with the current ESD norms, the maximum electrostatic charges are stated for ESD protected areas.
