These shoes are certified according to EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S, although their properties are similar to those of S3 safety shoes with a weatherproof membrane (e.g. dryplexx®). Due to the adaptation of the EN ISO 20345:2022, new protection classes are created to further subdivide the characteristics of safety shoes in the future. The Italian city of Turin impresses with its exciting mix of architecture, history, and breathtaking mountain landscape. A good inspiration for the outstanding design of our S7S safety shoes e.s. Turin mid. Important design impulses also came from our own ranks, as the colours are perfectly matched to the e.s.iconic collection. The sporty shoes appear robust & traditional at first glance with their classic lacing but are full of modern safety features: With an aluminium cap and puncture-resistant sole, they guarantee full S7S protection. Your dryplexx® membrane reliably protects against wind and weather. The robust, structured sole and the closed tongue construction make the e.s. Turin mid fit for any terrain. Additionally, it offers an ESD feature. All in all, the verdict can only be: "Fantastico!"

Breathable shoes only work with functional socks. Cotton socks store moisture. In contrast, functional socks remove the moisture from the feet to the outside. Then the breathable shoe membrane comes into play and transports the moisture to the outside of the shoe. Therefore the principle behind breathable shoes only works if breathable socks are worn. Only a combination of functional socks and breathable shoes effectively removes sweat sending it to the outside of the shoe. This is the principle of breathability.
